This next couple of sets were performed for the show "The Current" on Minnesota Public Radio. The 2006 Show featured Tom and Chris performing acoustically, and it contains an excellent version of "Bullets", as well as "All Sparks" and "Munich". There's also a couple of brief interview snippets, where we discover that Chris was technically homeless at the time of recording due to their touring schedule! The 2008 show features one of my favourite live versions of "Bones". It's really beautiful.

Prefix Magazine Acoustic track

This is one of my absolute fave Editors performances of "All Sparks", because it's an utterly surreal situation. Chris and Tom perform the track in what looks like a futuristic pod, while Pete Thownsend of The Who looks on from behind them. All this and some totally impromptu swearing from Chris at the beginning and you've got the makings of an incredibly odd little video. Check it out:-

CD101 Acoustic Session Videos

Over in the States there's an alternative radio station in Columbus, Ohio called CD101. In 2008 they had a visit from a couple of very dubious looking characters from a band called Editors, who recorded an acoustic set of 3 tracks for the station and were filmed whilst performing. The only downside for me is that the event was shot on a fixed camera, so what you see in the pic above is pretty much how it looks throughout. But it's a minor complaint. And all of a sudden, just like that, our little band Editors found themselves playing a stadium show with a group whose music they grew up on. This was a set played as part of their support on R.E.M.'s "Accellerate '08" tour,and I can only imagine how cool it must have been to share a stage with such an amazing band. Newbie here........ been a big editors fan for a while and have browsed this forum many a time, but finally thought it's time to sign up.

Just wanted to say hi, and what better way to make a name for yourself than sucking up........ I have to say a huge thanks to anyone thats ever shared, in particular one lemming for some of his uploads, I've trawled the forums many a time and now have a multitude of live recordings and demos thanks to you all. Any future requests I hope to be able to return the good will in any way possible.

Why we're on the topic of sharing, I don't suppose anyone has a version of Lights played live, where Tom sings the bit "I still love the light on baby, I still love the light on baby" in the middle? cause I've never heard a version where he does sing it! other then the album itself! Does one exsist? haha
