Well I don't agree with any of that, so there. I'm enjoying it.

lol it does what it does very well but there is just no real substance to it or point.

it is just media consumption device.

it may turn in to something more once the second gen comes out but right now its an over priced toy.

dont get me wrong i had fun with it and it is very quick but when you start looking beyond its glitz it starts to disappoint.

and the bevel is stupidly big and their anti smear screen is very easily smeared.

and it needs some sort of grip pad at the back is its to smooth for its own good lol

As I mentioned, my friends and I went to the downtown clubs last night.
I'm still smiling--had many laughs, some drinks (just 3!), and awkward moments.

One of my favorites is when a guy kept asking me to dance--he repeatedly waved his hand and nodded his head over. I kept saying, "No thanks, no thank you." My friend had to literally step in between both of us (back to him) and said, "She said NO!' Laughing

Ran into a drunk coworker on the street. I wonder if he'll remember our conversation tomorrow when I see him.

And! I remember a few months ago, we talked about people posting "drink" pictures on facebook--and I was pleased to not have one myself. *sigh*
So it begins:

As goofy as I look, I was sober the whoolle time...*puffs chest* (as if needed)
Who can guess the drink? Laughing

I'm totally with you on this.

An iPad is a ridiculously expensive laptop without a keyboard, it's an iPhone without the phone. WHY do people buy it? I don't get it...honestly, I want to understand, but the iPad does not make any sense to me. It just seems like Apple did a great job brainwashing people into believing the iPad is something new. Confused

I feel so "out of date"... I must be the only person on earth who hasn't purchased any mac toys, ever. What's wrong with meeee? Laughing
I mean, what's with mac these days?Ok I understand, they are good quality but I'm just wondering if this is just temporary trend. I mean, I visited some shops last week and no one was paying attention to any electronic devices other than mac's. There were like 30 people per desk. It was insane.

The only Apple item I have is my ipod, I've never felt any interest towards the rest of Mac stuff. In my opinionall the iphones and similar are just mass consumption as Gary said. They release a new version every six months with just a few new applications that could have been included in the first place and people go buy them like sheep. I have a very crappy mobile phone but as long as I can make calls and send text messages with it I don't need anything else. I've never used a Mac PC and I'm sure it's very useful and functional but come one, Windows is not that bad. (I'm probably going to get stones thrown at me for saying this). I've used Windows my whole life and even if I agree it's not perfect, I've never had major problems with it.

The friends and colleagues of mine who are Mac-addicts are terrible in discussions about Apple. They're all fanboys and girls who get upset when you critize the perfection that is Mac. Nearly got into a fight with one of them when I said that the iPad is just a laptop without the keyboard. XD

I'm not an Apple fan at all, actually I never got why people are so enthusiastic about that. I mean as long as I've got a working pc or laptop I am absolutely fine.
Recently I bought myself an iPod touch though and I have to admit sometimes I ask myself how did I live without it. But the iPad, well that's just a huge and expensive iPod touch isn't it?

I love apples, but I like pineapple alot better Laughing
Got an iPod myself though I never use it anymore, replaced it with a nokia phone, it's just as easy if not easier.. and it allows you to call and send texts aswell, so I only carry one piece of equipment with me. I do like apple products, I mean.. they look nice, but that's about it for me. As for my computer.. I just have some Asus laptop and I don't use any apple OS (nor do I use windows). Does this make me unhappy, nope it does not.

Guess some people just misunderstood the apple in 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away'.
