It's so hot in here it's really hard for me to concentrate on work.
Plus I had the most stupid argument ever because of bullfighting and politics. Not my fault, I just had to defend myself from his verbal harassment! _________________

I used to have lots of discussions about bullfighting with my family. Not really arguments, but still discussions that lead nowhere and there's no way to reach any agreement. Now I don't even bother. I'd elaborate but it's too complicated. Same with politics. I hate talking about politics because I don't seem to fit any ideology: sometimes I feel I'm too liberal for conservatives and too conservative for liberals. _________________ Here's where the wind leaves its mark across your face |

Continuing with the Spanish theme, I'm leaving the country tomorrow. It's been my home for over a year and now I have to go back to the crap weather back in Ireland. _________________

Hope you enjoyed your time here. Well I loved Ireland when I went there for the summer in 2006 and 2007 and I didn't think it was so miserable. I'm sure there are things you've missed, like family and friends. Take care! _________________ Here's where the wind leaves its mark across your face |

You were enjoying this heat? (I suppose it's more or less the same temperature in Madrid than it is in Porto). I just want to move to Alaska!!!
About bullfighting. What makes me sick, aside of the whole stupid tradition, is that sometimes it airs on national tv. How freaking stupid is this? How can it have enough audiences to air at prime time on national tv? Is there so many people who enjoy that? They just might be sick. _________________ São carris que me prendem aqui,

I don't think bullfighters are sadists who enjoy torturing animals (not so much) but it doesn't make any sense to me how ANYONE can actually enjoy watching that sight. And sometimes the bull gets out of control and stabs the guy with a horn and he bleeds to death in front of 500 people. Then they treat him like a hero when it's actually a really stupid and nonsensical way to die. Gratuitous violence, that's what it is. Lots of people in Spain feel very disgusted and embarrassed by this but when you complain about it you get called a disrespectful brat or a hippy. _________________ Here's where the wind leaves its mark across your face |

Mercury Rev still playing the same setlist they played for their entire tour 2 years ago. Only crowd pleasers they played were Dark Is Rising and Godess On A Highway. I want Secret For A Song, In A Funny Way, Nite & Fog, Little Rhymes,.... _________________ I'm not a boardie, I'm a registered user |

lolz
today at work was weird. I felt in a foul mood, like people kept hassling me when all i wanted was to be left alone to get on with certain tasks. I left early, feeling in a 'Morrissey circa Southpaw Grammar' mood (angry, on the ropes, defensive). Probabl;y have to go the gym to get rid of it. (and i ahd planned on being lazy tonight!!) _________________ "Love. What is it? Most natural painkiller there is. LOVE." - william s burroughs - |
