One final request anyone got any tips for Cheltenham i'm having a mare so far....

just remember this ...you never see a bookie on a bus Laughing

Really enjoyed last night ...despite being stuck up in the seats by myself ...for once I was glad, looking down at the crowd, no way I'dve survived unscathed (I'm recovering from cracked ribs I got at last my last Doves gig Rolling Eyes )

Loved the new tune ...and fell completely in love with Cold Cave ..where have they been all my life ..I notice they are at the Deaf Institute in May though Cool

Me thinks me and Tilly will be popping along to the deaf institute also. There is a Q Lazarus moment in one of Cold Caves tunes hope they sound as good in a smaller venue. Just got another tip for Chelts - 'Keep your money in your arse pocket' . Quite right kalinka you never see apoor bookie.

This was my first Editors gig! I was up in the circle and so was a bit restricted. But, towards the end, myself and a few others just went for it and stood up to dance and shout! Smile

Yeah, it was a good gig, enjoyed it. My only gripe is that they didn't seem to have much communication with the fans and stood well back on the stage. The standing back could possible have something to do with not wanting beer and god knows what, chucked at them....don't know, i'm new in town. Razz

the stage at the apollo is deep though and tehre was a huge gap between the barrier and the stage adn then one from the front og the stage to where the band were. had to do with where the lights are situated above, any furthere forward then they would be in front of the lights.

glad you enjoyed the show and welcome to the forum
