Was just telling a friend about my Editors NA adventure, and thought I'd share my story about the US/Canadian border. I frequent the Sarnia/Port Huron border stop so it's usually no big deal but the guy on the Canadian side asked my friend and I where we were going, Toronto, what for, a concert, who's playing, Editors. Oh! He said. Those guys were just through here a bit ago. Nice guys. And sent us on our way.
Coming from Toronto and heading to NYC, we passed through the Buffalo Niagara area and the guy on the US side asked the same questions but when presented with the name Editors, was like... who's that? So here I am, trying to be all cool and compare them to other bands this guy (who looked about 45) might know. You know, the standard Depeche Mode, New Order comparisons we're hearing with the new album. His comment? "You know the 80s are over, right?"
At least he let us go on without any further incident. |

[quote="final"]IAnd I didn't quite know where to put this, but last night CJ Boland was on StuBru (Belgian radio station) and he was telling about new material he will be recording for his band Magnus (together with Tom Barman from dEUS). He said they will be recording a single with Tom (Smith). Curious about this...

mabye we can bump into tom (smith) while enjoying a drink on the dageraadplaats in antwerp |

Please share it. (Even if it's by PM.) I can't see how anything could be THAT gross / rude.
Unless you've like changed every word to fuck or something. |

^ I don't think even that wouldn't be allowed
unless the lyrics involve links to nudity, I'd say it's pretty safe. _________________ RETREAT RETREAT!! |
