my iPod has just died
i'm stupidly, pathetically upset about it 
i can g and buy a new one tomorrow but then i'll be skint... i was gonna go out.o.. but... seriously i CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY FUCKING iPod....

...I'm on my 4th ipod David...and i dread the day this current snuffs it....Ive had this one for almost 2 and a half years, the longest surviving one yet so being the eternal pessimist im expecting it to expire any second....

Ditto, apart from my iMac it would be the first thing I would rescue froma burning house. Twice now my hard drive has crashed and I have lost my music library, it sent me into a depression  iPods should be issued on the NHS

A friend's just told me that he's 'had the worst time of his life' over the last day or so. Knowing him, that cannot be good.... fucking hell.... I feel useless....

As harsh as it sounds, sometimes we have to accept we're useless... that is, we can't help things from happening, to others or ourselves or whatever.. that we just have to somehow muddle through regardless... although accepting this does take time.
And it's not really a skill you can just aquire by oneselef, you do need people to help you get it...

Getting my new iPod this morning was such a mixture - relief, followed by misery when i realised how much i'd spent on it, followed by a bit more misery as i counted my pennies and did my sums (could i go out tonight? no. Could i go to the cinema today? yes - phew! ), followed by that sweet sweet lovely feeling of being cocooned in a world of your own in a crowded train, Editors being pumped staright into my head via the eardrums....

My iPod had to be restored last night. I wasn't being allowed back it up, so I have to start from scratch all over again...
I think an 'FML' would be appropriate.
