No words can describe the last two nights... I mean, A Life As A Ghost!!!
I can now die happy. No...wait, there're still more gigs to go to.... |
incredible isn;'t it? I knew it was on the setlist from reading about it in Lincoln but nothing prepared me for how bloody amazing it was to actually experience it firsthand! |
Considering it's probably my favourite song of the ITLAOTE era, I'm just surprised I didn't piss myself... lol
New song is also amazing!
Yeah, Eds just continue to know how to deliver it. Good, very good indeed. |

Bradford was excellent tonight! Setlist was the same except The Boxer was dropped and Camera was subd, Munich and Smokers swapped places and I think a few others might have shuffled but I can't be sure.
The venue was incredible! It looked like an old music hall that had been very lovingly restored. The crowd were really getting into the show and giving an amazing response. Naturally the one asshole in the crowd found our corner of the room two thirds of the way thru the set, he kept pushing in front and dancing like Liam Gallagher for a few mintues before looking confused and wandering off only to return later, mostly he made me laugh coz the Oasis-thug-shuffle was too hilarious but by the time Papillon kicked in his gurning visage was making me bilious. He must be the only person left on the planet that isn't moved to vomit by Gallagher Bros. Ooooo I've just had a thought, he might have been mentally challenged.... in which case I am evil.... Oops!! Nah he wasn't I'm sure.... might have been though... oh well I'm sure I'll burn in hell.
Everyone else around us was jumping around and having fun though and lots of people on the balconies were up and dancing! Loads of people screaming 'i love you', so much so that Tom commented on how much love there was in the room. Awwwww.
Anyway now it is very nearly 4am and despite knocking back two Valium I stll can't sleep.... blast!! _________________ 'Let me tell you the truth. The truth is what is, and what should be is a fantasy. A terrible, terrible lie that someone gave to the people long ago.' Lenny Bruce |
